Revision as of 04:51, 17 February 2007
There should be a place on this page to link to Official Declaration 1 and Official Declaration 2. Or maybe they're someplace else I haven't seen yet.
- Good point. Thanks. Done, --Matthew Faulconer 08:41, 25 Jul 2005 (CEST)
- I don't see the declarations--was this ever added? I was actually looking for the Proclamation on the Family, which I think should be added too. --RobertC 14:00, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing this out. The Official Declarations got lost when I recreated the table of contents. I had recreated the TOC recently to add in links to each 5 verse passage of scriptures from the table of contents rather than, as I had done before, having the TOC link from the chapter to the first five verse passage in that scripture and making people go next, next, next to get to the right verse.
- I am sympathetic with the view that the Proclamation on the Family should be listed but, my view is that, in order to make a clear distinction between what should be on this site and what shouldn't the simplest place to make the cutoff is that if the Church includes something as scripture on their site, we should include it here. I don't believe the Church is currently including the proclamation on the family as scripture on their site. --Matthew Faulconer 22:08, 25 Sep 2005 (CEST)
- That policy makes a lot of sense. I'd be curious to know if the Proclamation isn't on the scripture site b/c they're slow changing the website or b/c they don't currently consider it part of the canon. I'd bet it eventually becomes part of the scripture canon--time will tell....--RobertC 03:41, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- I'd expect the same, and also for "The Living Christ." --Eric 17:19, 26 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Layout
I changed the layout from the single-column multi-page list format to a table that fits all the links into a single page. I hope the effect is more positive than negative. I want to include the square bullets, but I will tackle that problem in the morning... --John 09:51, 17 February 2007 (CET)
