| − | I paused this morning as I read this that Nephi explained nothing more about what the TREE is than simply to say to his unbelieving brothers that it is the Tree of Life ([http://scriptures.lds.org/1_ne/15/21-22#21 v 21-22]) and move on to the next question.

In [http://scriptures.lds.org/1_ne/11/21-23#21 1 Ne. 11:21-23], he says the Tree of Life is a representation of ''the Love of God, which sheddeth itself abroad in the hearts of the children of men; wherefore, it is the most desirable above all things.''
