Thoughts on Alma 32

We planted a garden this year so the passage where Alma compares the Gospel to a seed planted in good soil gives a graphic picture of faith growning in a humble, teachable heart. When we nurtured the seeds and young plants that we put into our garden we have had an abundance of vegetables. We have even been able to put some away to use this winter when we cannot grow because of the weather. It is the same with Gospel teachings; if planted in a humble heart and nurtured through prayer and study they grow into abundance. The time of abundance can help see us through trials.
